Foundry Pyrometer

The Foundry Pyrometer is a convenient handheld portable instrument for measuring the temperature of molten metal’s, both ferrous and non-ferrous. The instrument has a lance extension at the end of which can be fitted with an Expendable Thermocouple Tips or Re-usable Multi Dip Thermocouple Tip. An automatic timing sequence initiates measurement when the Thermocouple is immersed into the molten metal. The measuring sequence ends with the peak temperature reading being latched on display and a beeper signals the end of measurement.
